Peaks Fall Power Camp
Oct 18 - 23, 2009
Using Your Power Data to Plan the Perfect 2010 Season
Join Hunter Allen and Peaks Coaching Group for our first annual fall training camp in beautiful south central Pennsylvania. This camp is designed to teach cyclists of all abilities and styles how to use their historical power data to plan the perfect 2010 season. Hunter and his team will teach you how to identify your strengths and weaknesses, how to develop a periodization plan and improve results of each phase of their training. Each athlete will go through a series of personal physical and bio-mechanics tests such as FACT Lactate, Spin Scan Pedal Analysis, RAMP, Watts/Kilo Testing and more in an effort to better understand your baseline abilities and then use this information, along with your past power data to improve your training plan for 2010.
Power Camp Testimonials
I wanted to thank you again for making my week experience a memorable one, so much I am going to switch my
coaching services to The Peaks Coaching Group. I learned more about road racing strategy and tactics at your camp
than in the last 7 years of watching the tour. It’s a great time with fun people who help push me further then I
would do myself. I could go on here since each of my 5 days was packed with many of these experiences.

I just wanted to drop you a quick note to tell you how much I enjoyed camp. I learned alot and felt that it
was very well organized. All the coaches were very approachable and made me feel like they were genuinely interested
in making me a better cyclist. I’m not exactly sure how someone could pull that off unless they were genuinely
good people. Again, thank you for your time, and I look forward to seeing you again soon.
-Marc Warner, VA
I raced on tired legs at Rock Hill on Sunday after camp. I won and I believe it was a direct result of camp.
I used pacing and tactics I learned from Coaches and many of the Campers during the hilly 45 miles. In the last
K's I put myself 4th wheel. At 1K, 2 riders came to my right at strong pace and I got on. I anticipated them
slowing and knew that the field would swarm me in seconds. I had tested that I was in the right gear and I jumped
at 350 M. In a split second, I had huge gap. I realized my effort was early but the move was now or never.
At 200 Meters, I was 50 meters in front and won by 10 bike lengths. My 5 sec power was only 1001watts.......
no great shakes but the timing was HUGE. Tuesday's sprinting session made it all possible. I haven't really won
anything notable in about 25 years. I am in tears this morning as I write this. Thank you all for everything.
