Coaching Philosophy:
Check out this interview with Bill McLaughlin for more on Bill's philosophies on cycling.
I believe that while cycling is a team sport, you race as an individual. That, as well as the
constant focus to improve and gain strength, speed and fitness is what keeps me riding. I have
now reached the point in my cycling career where I want to share my knowledge and pass on my love
of the sport by coaching other riders who are looking to improve. I am eager to begin working with
cyclists to develop their strengths and achieve their goals through a carefully thought out
program that will gets athletes psychologically and emotionally ready to tackle any challenge.
Client Tesimonials:
Working with a Peaks coach has improved my overall racing and training beyond my expectations. I’ve always known that power training was crucial to any success I would have as a racer, but was unable to achieve results on my own. My Peaks coach, Bill, helped teach me how to train smarter as well as harder. In just a few months, my threshold power went from 203 to 290 watts and I placed 3rd in my first Masters race of the season. I am looking forward to a successful 2009!
