At the Peaks Coaching Group we believe in initial evaluation of your fitness level before prescribing any training program or exercise prescription. All of our athletes perform some form of initial testing to determine their fitness level and to set up their power and/or heart rate training zones and find their optimal cadence. However, we are also available to perform this service on an individual and group basis. Our coaches and exercise physiologists can meet with you and/or your team or you can come to us at our headquarters or one of our satellite branches.
Our associates can perform lactate threshold testing to determine your optimal training zones for power, heart rate training or both. This can be done using portable lactate analyzers by doing a lactate profile on the athlete or by using a field-testing incorporating a power meter. The proper training zones can then be prescribed, based on your lactate threshold power and heart rate using CyclingPeaksSoftware and the training zones of your choice. We can even leave you with a training plan for any specified period of time using TrainingPeaks.com, or better yet, start coaching you right away. Either way, you will be set up to get the maximum out of your training for this season and beyond!
