Background:
Courtland is a Palmer College of Chiropractic graduate in 1998. In the 12 years he has been in practice, he has taken a special interest in sports injury and training. He is a Certified Sports Chiropractic Physician whose passion is to increase the physical, mental, and spiritual focus of athletes. His practice goals include focusing on the full range of health and wellness to allow optimum function and ability of his patients. Courtland believes it is imperative to look into all areas of the athletes’ lives to bring out the very best in their performance and health. He believes success is possible by making positive life choices, setting goals and developing an efficient plan to achieve your stated goals.
Courtland is an accomplished cyclist; he has been racing on and off road bicycles for over 20 years. He enjoys the competition of CAT 1 single speed and cross country mountain bike races as well as CAT 4 road events. He has successfully competed in the Furnace Creek 508, The Death Ride, The Everest Challenge, The Warrior’s Society Vision Quest and most recently the Cascade Cream Puff 100 mile mountain bike race. Recently, Courtland began to teach spin classes at the local bike shop using the Saris indoor trainers. He uses Cycling Peaks WKO+ to individualize training programs and to analyze the progress of a training program.

An individualized training program is an important key to an athlete’s physical and personal development, “I believe an experienced coach can help athletes make smart goals and develop an efficient and personal training program to ensure success.” Courtland’s experience and the depth of knowledge that Hunter Allen and the entire Training Peaks Coaching staff provide can help all athletes, novice to expert, achieve their goals.
