Background and Coaching Philosophy:
I have been racing bikes since 1995 and currently race as a Category 1 on the road and track. I love stage racing
and have raced in numerous Latin American and Caribbean UCI events. In 2001, I won the South Eastern Conference
Collegiate road race championship.
I am a USA Cycling Elite Level coach as well as a Carmichael Training Systems, Coaching college graduate.
I have both a Bachelors and a Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology. I am currently employed as an Exercise
Physiologist at the USA Triathlon National Training Center in Clermont, FL where I am the "go-to" person for
all cycling related issues. My responsibilities at the NTC include VO2max testing, Lactate Threshold testing,
and professional bike fitting. While I enjoy my work at the training center, my true passion is coaching.

Client Testimonials:
"Before I began working with Adam, my training program was unorganized and unspecific for my goals. Adam gave me a
training program that met my needs and I quickly saw results. My race results got much better and became much more
consistent. Adam knows what he's doing and has made me a much better cyclist."

I thought I was a forever Category 3 racer, being 34 years old, working full time and just trying to juggle life.
In the spring of 2002 I decide I would try to focus more on cycling and give it a good solid effort for one year.
My first step was utilizing my limited free time efficiently. I approached Adam Baskin about becoming a client having
known him for years through racing. Adam set me up on a great program. I basically gave him the hours each week I
could ride and he developed a plan that fit my schedule. Adam informed of the hows and whys of each workout and was
there for consultation when I had questions. The focused training paid off within weeks and even more as the months
went by. In 2002 I was the highest placed Cat 3 in the 30+ Florida Point Series, finishing 8th in the State with 11
top 10 placings. In 2003 I up graded to Cat 2 and raced only cat 2s for the year. While no walk in the park I was
able to hold my own and finish several NRC races and help my teammates into several high placings. 2004 has been
even better with several top 15 placings, hopefully the best is yet to come. If you want to maximize your potential
on a limited time schedule I highly recommend Adam Baskin and his associates. I give it 5 out of 5 stars!

Before Adam started coaching me, I was a cat. 4 and Junior. My time trialing was weak and my endurance to get
to the line was hurting too. I started working with him in November and with in a month I was already seeing
results. I was developing a strong base fitness and also working on my lactate threshold. He also had me in the
gym working on my core strength and developing power for the sprints. My first races went well. I got 2nd in the
11 mile time trial, and got 7th the next day in the crit. That was much better than my previous best finish of
22nd the year before.
We had set aside three goals for the 2004 season. 1) Upgrade to cat. 3 2) Qualify for LAJORS camp 3) Go to Juniors
Nationals. I met every goal and Adam played a signifigant role in helping me achieve these goals. Buy giving my
structure to my workouts and planing for these goals, I was able to meet these goals by the end of the Spring season.
I have had numerous top 10 results. My biggest improvement was that I have added 2 mph to my 16K time trial.
Thanks Adam for everything you have done and hope that it has been as fun for you as it has been for me.
I hope that you coach me well into the future and that the progression doesn't stop.
