Cycling Power Training Camp

Join Peaks Coaching Group coach Adnan Kadir and Elite Coach and
co-author of the book, 'Training and Racing with A Power Meter, Tap into
Cycling’s Top Technology', Hunter Allen, in beautiful Marin County,
California for a week of learning how to maximize your potential!!

This will be an intermediate/advanced camp for racers who have been competing for 1 year or more, and/or are Cat 4 and higher. This camp will emphasize more advanced skills, longer distance rides (one day will be 90+ miles), faster paced rides and more intense workouts.
Power meters are highly recommended (but not required) for use by all campers to get the most out of this camp. Power meters will be made available for purchase at a discount at the camp.
The camp will cover the following topics: Climbing, sprinting, time trialing, group and break away riding techniques, mental training, tactics and strategies, flexibility techniques, strength & conditioning, video technique analysis, nutrition and also feature guest speakers.
Your day will be packed with things to do. Here is a sample day:
- 8-9 a.m. Breakfast
- 9:45 a.m. to 1 PM Ride -Length of ride will depend on day and topics scheduled to cover. One day we have a double ride scheduled.
- 1pm- 2:30pm -Lunch- Mechanic will be working and making adjustments on bikes, as we eat.
- 2:30- 5:30 PM. – Afternoon training programs, one on ones with the coaches, massages or free time to just take a nap.
- 6:00- 7:30- P.M. - Evening Program, Guest Speakers, video critique, etc.
- Dinner
What the Camp will entail:
- One on one power consult with Hunter Allen
- One on one performance consults with PCG Coaches
- Video Analysis of your Riding technique and style
- Opportunity to have your power meter files reviewed by expert coaches
- Training recommendations and analysis of you as a rider
- Power and/or heart rate training zones to take with you
- Full-Time Mechanic Support - Clean and adjusted bikes every Morning. Just like the Pros!
- One half hour of free Massage. (Additional massage $1 per minute)
- Awesome FOOD! This includes food on the road, as well as breakfast,
lunch and dinner masterfully prepared by the chefs at Ralston White
Retreat
- Full Sag Support during rides
- Pick-up and return trip to Oakland Airport

The Cost for the Camp will be $1999 per person and will include all
meals and lodging and all the other great things mentioned above.
Lodging will be at the Ralston White Retreat in gorgeous Mill Valley . Private rooms available
for a nominal fee.
You will need to arrive on the Monday (March 23) afternoon/evening before your camp is to begin, unless you are local and can drive to the camp for Tuesday morning. So, please make appropriate arrangements.
We want to have all the bikes put together by Tuesday morning, so we can head out riding by 10am on Tuesday morning. We have lots of things to go over and everyday will be critical for you to get the most out of the camp.
We are only accepting 20 riders for this camp, so please register early!
Local riders are always welcome at The Peaks Coaching Group camps for a
reasonable day rate! This includes all daily activities including lectures!
A Camp Packet will be sent out two weeks before the camp, so that everyone will know how the camp is going to flow and all pertinent data, directions, etc.
