PCG Coach
- I started racing in 1997, after watching my grandfather from the sidelines. I instantly fell in love with the sport, as the atmosphere and intensity brought me in. I raced as an Elite Junior on Team USA through Europe, Australia, and Mexico till 2003 when I turned Pro. I found the ITU racing wasn't for me and jumped up in distance in 2005, placing 7th at Ironman Wisconsin.
Today, I am member of the Pro LUNA team, racing towards being one of the top American Ironman athletes. 2007 will be my first amazing trip to Ironman World Championships in Kona, after a 5th place at Ironman Arizona. Triathlon has given so much to me, that I am ready to share my passion and knowledge with others.
Triathlon opens our eyes to the art of time management, life balance, commitment, and achievement even through obstacles. I hope to coach athletes to learn more about themselves, about becoming the athlete they never thought they could, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle because life happens.
I live in Austin, Texas, with my super supportive husband/coach, crazy marathon dog and 2 cats. I currently work part-time as an Elite Sports Massage Therapist at the University of Texas for the Women's Athletic Department.
