Neil HarriganFor many years I have been cycling for fitness. Last year I tried some racing. I read a few books and tried to coach myself. It didn’t work as well as I had hoped. In races, my weakness put me out of contention and I couldn’t objectively figure out how to improve. A friend recommended Margaret. From the first conversation, she worked hard to understand my goals and put into action a plan for achieving them. She pinpointed my weakness and worked with me to improve them. I have a family and a full time job. Working with my limited training time, she assembled an effective and challenging schedule. My workouts now make the most of my time. On the personal side, she is also very encouraging and positive. Before a race she lets me know what she thinks I can do and usually she is right. She is very diligent about checking up on my progress and modifying my schedule as needed. This was especially important to me when I got the flu and had to rebuild some of my base fitness. In the three months of Margaret’s coaching, my overall fitness has improved dramatically and my race results have shown it. Twice I have won a category 5 race. I highly recommend her. Neil Harrigan |
