PCG has partnered with The Tour Of The Battenkill

America's largest one-day Pro/Am cycling race. Racers compete over 65+ miles of rolling terrain on both dirt and paved roads as they travel through the world famous Battenkill Valley. Set in early spring, the race courses includes covered bridges, family farms, and rural villages along the many challenging backcountry roads that traverse Southern Washington County, New York.

The 2015 edition played host to nearly 3,000 amateur and professional cyclists from throughout North America and 15 countries.

What's the difference between the Pro/Am and the Open gran fondo?

The Pro/Am is for category, age-group, and elite racers with some racing experience. Each race is field-size limited with lead and follow cars and/or motorcycles. Each field and competitor is required to maintain a position to the right of the double yellow line unless specified otherwise by the event. 2 feed zones are provided.  

The Open gran fondo is mass-start event for riders wanting a non-competitive experience. Riders are grouped by abilility at the start only, and then begin simultaneously. 2 rest stops are provided for the Open gran fondo. Each field and competitor is required to maintain a position to the right of the double yellow line unless specified otherwise by the event. Lead and follow cars are also provided, as is Neutral Service.
