Winter Power Training Camp
Base miles and sun in Florida !
Clermont, Florida
February 18-23, 2025

"I've been coming to Clermont now for nearly 10 years and it's a great place to put in some winter foundation miles, work on your suntan, enjoy some good weather and make it a great training week"
--
Coach Hunter Allen
The goal of this cycling camp is to ride in sunny Clermont, Florida for a week of base miles, where you can choose between two different distances each day and ride as much as you want. Escaping winter in late February is the perfect time as you will be able to put in some great miles and then when you head home, spring should be coming soon!
It's often stated by attendees at PCG Camps that the "brochure" can't even come close to describing the value that is attained. But let's try anyway! There's WKO analysis and season preparation by the master himself. There are daily rides where skills like sprinting, counter-steering and pace lining are taught and practiced. There are stories from Hunter's many, many years in the industry and as a professional cyclist. There's SAG support, amazing A, B and C Road Groups for different levels, coaching by Hunter and his expert coaches, power analysis of your data, on-staff bike mechanics, incredible food......
There's just so much!
We will have a great complement of Peaks Coaches at this camp, and we will work with you improving your ride skills and techniques, as well as group riding techniques and strategies. You will learn the basics of training with power and for those of you that have been using a power meter for a while, this is a chance to ask all the advanced questions of the coach that invented the principles of power training, Hunter Allen.
Athletes from all over the world descend upon the beautiful rolling terrain of Clermont, FL throughout the year. Clermont is the perfect place for a cycling camp with awesome hill training opportunities, quiet country roads, proximity to the National Training Center, where we have optional afternoon power training sessions. Receive daily on-the-road coaching from our coaches and team, as well as post-ride power analysis and training that will help set you up for the season right!

Paul Ozier
Peaks Coaching Group Elite Coach
I have been coaching at PCG camps now for 5 years and enjoy every minute. It's a pleasure to ride with some incredible athletes, help them improve even more and dial in their training.
Communicating with each other is a critical part of the success. I am an open book of experience, knowledge, and feedback. Sharing what I have experienced and been educated with over the last 30 years, then seeing an athlete reach a new milestone with a smile on their face is what it is all about.
Whether it is Road Racing, Gravel Racing, Mountain Biking, Gran Fondos, or Zwift, Paul has done it. He will work with you and meet you where you need to be met. He has the passion and experience to help you succeed with your goals at camp and after!

Todd Scheske
Peaks Coaching Group Master Coach
I started bike racing as a junior 35 seasons ago and advanced to a category 1 elite level. Over the past 30-plus years I've founded four different elite cycling teams and served as the program director and team director for these teams, along with promoting bike safety and healthy lifestyles to youth in community programs. I also have run a successful junior program and have produced several junior cycling camps, of which the past few editions have been part of the USA Cycling Talent ID program.
I have coached many athletes to achieving their individual goals, including several to the category 1 level, to pro contracts, championship titles and world records. My experience as an elite level racer, coach, USA Cycling official, team director, and event organizer all contribute to a holistic approach that can provide you with the tools you need to navigate not only your training, but also the associated racing aspects of our sport. My time in cycling and serving in those capacities has also provided me a rich knowledge base of friends and associates to draw for unique situations to help YOU achieve more from a seasoned team.
Coaching philosophy
Coaching athletes of all levels of competition is extremely gratifying work, and I thoroughly enjoy learning each of my individual athletes and participating in their successes with them. I work with athletes who train with and without power meters, because while I believe power meters are valuable tools, it is a rider's skills in strategy, tactics, and racing that makes the winning difference.
