CEO - Peaks Coaching Group Brasil

Background

I've always enjoyed cycling, swimming, and running for fitness and pleasure, but when I put all three together and started participating in triathlons, I moved from casual exercise to all-out training and racing. I realized that not only did I love being a top-notch athlete, I also wanted to pursue a career as a coach. After getting my undergrad degree in Phys. Ed., I went on to a get a master’s degree in Sports Coaching at the University of Queensland in Australia.

I've been a full-time triathlon coach and athlete for over fifteen years now, and I've coached triathletes and cyclists at all levels, from sprint to long-distance races. My athletes have had many successes, including top-three Ironman elite finishes and multiple Kona age group qualifications. I've also helped athletes succeed in important races, obtaining titles such as national age group champions, national duathlon elite champions, and numerous top-three positions in national elite long distance championships.

Notable achievements
  • Completed over 200 races in all distances, including multiple Ironman races as well as Ironman Hawaii
  • Placed in the overall top ten several times, including Ironman 70.3 Brasil
  • Brasilian National Age Group Champion
  • Participated in several World Championships
Coaching philosophy

As a coach, I combine my extensive racing experience with years of athletic studies to provide the ultimate coaching experience. I work with very specific goals for each of my athletes, using custom plans designed carefully for each one. Whether you have a busy schedule with only ten hours to train or can go all out with twenty hours or more, if you have the dedication I can optimize your training time so you can achieve your goals!
