PCG has partnered with The Storming Of Thunder Ridge for another year.

Calling all CLIMBERS!!! This is the perfect venue for you –the 9th riding of The Storming of Thunder Ridge! The ride this year is on Sunday, May 20, 2018. This is a HUGE cycling event (953 riders last year) that takes place in the Foothills and Mountains of the Blue Ridge 

We have created a great coaching package and training plans for participants of the SOTR.

It starts and finishes in Lynchburg, Virginia. They have several route options – the 27 and 45 miler stays put in the foothills (every climb is at least 8% - and I have been told we have NO Flatroads in Central Virginia) - the 75 and 100 miler spend 22 miles on the Blue Ridge Parkway including the LONGEST CLIMB (12.5 miles) on the BRP and the Highest Point in Virginia – Thunder Ridge (Apple Orchard Mtn) -- SO please come and spend some time in the mountains while you help raise funds for an awesome charity – The YMCA of Central Virginia. They offer Free Outdoor Camping on Saturday and Sunday night and Indoor camping on Saturday for a nominal charge. Come and Climb in Virginia!
