"A perfect 3-day weekend of riding, learning and improving your cycling."
--
Hunter Allen
These mini camps are a perfect get-away for a 3-day weekend where you will do a ton of great riding in the mountains of Virginia, receive professional coaching, upgrade your cornering and descending skills, and improve your climbing. Hunter Allen will be your coach for the 3-day weekend along with his Peaks Coaching Group team of coaches. Fully supported, you won't have to worry about ride food, water or routes.
Held in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia in the quiant town of Bedford, you will be charmed by the scenery, the quiet country roads and the wonderful climbs.
It's often stated by attendees at PCG Camps that the "brochure" can't even come close to describing the value that is attained. But let's try anyway! There's a mini skill clinic where you'll learn bumping, cornering and riding closely with others. You'll get to climb the 12.5 mile "Thunder Ridge" climb and test your FTP. You'll learn proper hill climbing techinque for both short and long climbs, with video analysis. Afternoon data sessions, Yoga class, power training principles taught by the guy that created them!
There's coaching support, amazing A, B and C groups for different levels, on-staff bike mechanics, great food... There's just so much!

GENERAL INFORMATION
“I've been to many camps: CTS and Tom Danielson being the most notable. This was my second year at Hunter's camp, and it still exceeded my expectations. Hands down, this is the best camp I have ever been to. I always learn something! I have been riding for 20 years and Hunter teaches things that I have never learned. Always fun and a great way to put the season into high gear. The coaches and campers are always a joy to meet and spend time with. Worth the investment!”

As a coach, Hunter makes sure to look at each athlete as a whole person. He excels at designing custom programs designed to maximize each rider's potential. He believes we are human beings working closely with other human beings, and it's important to him to work hard to find your strengths and weaknesses and to help you improve your skills, then develop a realistic plan that works for life. It is important that a coach learn as much as he can about you as an athlete and as a person in order to better develop a plan for success. He has now coached over 400 athletes and still learns something new from each one.
